Discover the ecological heart of the Dominican Republic in one extraordinary full-day journey. This triple-experience tour takes you from the mangroves and ancient Taino caves of Los Haitises National Park to the refreshing natural pools of Paraíso Caño Hondo, ending with the breathtaking 360° views atop Montaña Redonda. It is the perfect blend of history, untouched nature, and adrenaline—designed for those who want to see the “wild” side of the island.
Your eco-adventure begins with a scenic drive to the port of Sabana de la Mar. After a light breakfast to fuel up for the day, you will board a boat to navigate the tranquil mangroves and islets of Los Haitises National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Explore the stunning San Lorenzo Bay and walk through the mysterious caves of La Línea and La Arena. Here, you will follow the footsteps of the Taino people, observing authentic pictographs and petroglyphs while spotting exotic birds like pelicans and hawks.
After the park, we head to the world-famous Paraíso Caño Hondo Eco-Lodge. Tucked away in the lush forest, you will enjoy a traditional Dominican buffet lunch and have time to swim in 14 natural pools fed by crystal-clear waterfalls.
The grand finale is the ascent to Montaña Redonda in a rugged safari truck. Famous for its “swings at the edge of the world,” this mountaintop offers unrivaled panoramic views of Laguna Limón, the Samaná Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s the ultimate photo opportunity before returning to your hotel.
