Your adventure begins with a comfortable morning pickup, heading toward the scenic Miches coastline. From the Las Cañitas pier, we board our specialized vessel and set sail into the heart of Samaná Bay. This area is a protected sanctuary where thousands of humpback whales gather every winter to mate and give birth.
With the guidance of our expert crew, you’ll spend the morning scanning the horizon for powerful blows, tail slaps, and spectacular breaches. This is an intimate encounter with nature that focuses 100% on the beauty and majesty of these marine giants. Once the sighting session concludes, we’ll cruise back to the pier for a swift return to your hotel, leaving you with the rest of the day to relax and reflect on your once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
To ensure a smooth and organized experience, we follow a precise schedule:
07:20 AM – Departure from Punta Cana hotels.
08:30 AM – Departure from Miches hotels.
09:30 AM – Arrival at Las Cañitas Pier: Boarding and start of the whale watching search.
11:30 AM – End of whale watching session and return navigation to the pier.
12:00 PM – Arrival back at Miches hotels.
01:30 PM – Arrival back at Bavaro – Punta Cana hotels.
