Morning: Whale Watching Adventure
From the Las Cañitas pier, we board our specialized vessel and set sail into the heart of Samaná Bay. This protected sanctuary welcomes thousands of humpback whales every winter who travel here to mate and give birth. With the guidance of our expert crew, you’ll spend the morning scanning the horizon for powerful blows, tail slaps, and spectacular breaches. This is an intimate encounter with nature—witnessing these marine giants in their natural habitat is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Midday: Traditional Dominican Lunch
After your whale watching session, we’ll return to shore where a hearty Dominican lunch awaits at our partner location, giving you a taste of authentic local cuisine and a chance to share stories of the morning’s sightings.
Afternoon: Paradise at Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island)
The final chapter of our journey takes us to Cayo Levantado, famously known as Bacardi Island. This small slice of heaven is where the iconic Bacardi commercials were filmed, and one look tells you why. Crystal-clear turquoise waters, powdery white sand, and swaying palm trees create a postcard-perfect setting. Here, you have the afternoon to yourself: swim in the shallow sea, hunt for tropical fish, lounge on the sand with a drink in hand, or simply soak in the beauty. It’s the perfect, relaxing end to a day of incredible wildlife encounters.
